Join us (soon!) at our new tasting room in historic downtown Walla Walla. Located near the center of Walla Walla’s cultural hub, our downtown tasting room is on the North side of Second Avenue, one block south of the Marcus Whitman Hotel.
We expect to open in early May 2025 and plan to offer two distinct wine tasting options:
Guided Tastings
Available 10am to 2pm, reservation required.*
If your idea of a great wine tasting includes in-depth conversation with a knowledgeable host (often a winery principal) in a focused, seated format, we invite you to consider our Guided Tasting. Available by appointment, this tasting will be customized to your preferences and is appropriate for wine enthusiasts of any experience or background – from serious collectors to inquisitive novices. This is the best way to experience Armstrong Family wines and will include carefully selected artisan cheeses and charcuterie to accompany an in-depth exploration of our wines, vineyards, and the Walla Walla region – along with some entertaining family stories.
$35 per guest, waived with a wine purchase of $50
*Reservations are required, but we will always try to accommodate short-notice or same-day appointments if we can. We can accommodate parties from 1 to 6 people most days or, with advance notice, can accommodate groups of 8 or more (up t0 24 people) for group tastings.
Vintage (old-school) Tastings
Available 3pm to 6pm, walk-ins welcome.
There was a time, just a few years ago, where a wine lover could wander into an open tasting room, stand at a counter, and taste through 4 or 5 wines – no frills, no fuss, just wine. If that’s more your speed, please visit during our Vintage Tasting hours. We’re sometimes nostalgic for the spontaneity and convenience of these old-school, stand-at-the-bar tastings so we’re thrilled to resurrect this traditional wine tasting from from a bygone era. Rest assured, we’re still here to talk with you about the wines and answer your questions – just a bit more casually. There are a few stools near the windows and you’re welcome to wander the tasting room but please note that we’re not able to offer table service during our Vintage Tastings.
$10 per guest, waived with a purchase of $50 or more per person.
Our boutique tasting room is focused on wine tasting – we do not generally offer a wine bar experience or menu. There are some fantastic wine bars and hybrid tasting rooms nearby that offer glass pours, wine flights, beers, and snacks – we’re more than happy to recommend a few that will meet your needs!
Member Visits
Our Cellar Collective wine club members are always welcome and encouraged to consider either tasting option above . Or, if you prefer a more casual visit, please ask us for a “Member’s Menu” when you arrive. Appointments are suggested and preferred but we will always try to accommodate impromptu member visits as well. Thank you!

Our downtown Walla Walla tasting room is open Wednesday through Saturday (or by pre-arranged appointment every day).
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday:

- Vintage Tastings: 3pm to 6pm (walk-ins welcome)
Our Guided Tastings are also available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday by pre-arranged appointment only.
Private Events
Our downtown Walla Wala tasting room is available to rent for private or corporate events, or for large group tastings. Please contact us to inquire about your event.

Parking

Tasting Fees Explained
Our Guided Tastings can be customized for your group but are generally $35 per guest and will be charged upon completion of the tasting. One tasting fee of $35 will be waived for each wine purchase of $50 or more per person. For example, a $50 purchase waives one person’s tasting fee and a $100 purchase waives two tasting fees – and so on. Tasting fees are always waived for members and up to three additional guests. If you become a member during your visit, your tasting fee will be refunded or waived.
Our Vintage Tastings are intentionally no-frill and are offered at $10 per guest, charged upon completion of the tasting. One tasting fee of $10 will be waived for each wine purchase of $50 or more per person.
